# Two windows, one column

Stack a window into the column on its left or right, reorder it inside the stack, change its height, and pop it back out on either side.

- **Both directions:** Stack into the left or the right column, and pop out to the left or the right.
- **Heights that fit:** Make a stacked window taller or shorter by a preset or by a step, or share the height equally again.
- **Reorder in place:** Move a window up or down inside its stack.

**Scrolling Windows is optional.** It stays off until you turn it on. While it's on, window snapping and automatic window snapshots pause, and restoring a workspace turns it off; the strip saves its own session instead.
