# Every window, back where it was

A workspace remembers every app's windows: which monitor, which Desktop or full-screen Space, and where. Restore it with a click or its shortcut.

- **Missing apps open:** Restoring a workspace opens its apps that aren't running, then moves their windows into place. Automatic restores leave closed apps closed.
- **Automatic snapshots:** Window positions are saved every few minutes and as the screens sleep, and come back when a monitor setup reconnects.
- **See before you restore:** Each workspace shows a drawn preview of its windows, in each app's color, per Desktop.
